About MePower United
Our Mission
At MePower, we empower disadvantaged women to take control of their health and well-being by providing health education and training, such as support to make reusable feminine hygiene supplies for themselves, which also provides them with a dignified source of income through sales of the reusable pads to their communities.
Our Programs
MePower offers a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of homeless, trafficked, and poor girls and women, currently in El Salvador and Nepal. We aim to empower girls and women to become educated about menstrual issues and provide them with supplies. MePower works closely with the nonprofit Mission to El Salvador (https://missiontoelsalvador.com/mission-strategy/), which implements the program locally, and fair trade organizations like Women of the Cloud Forest https://womenofthecloudforest.com/pages/about.
